I am a Graduate of Music from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. I completed two postgraduate degrees in the UK. The first was a joint degree in composition and piano. On completion, I was awarded the Wainwright Prize for composition. The second was in Music Education at Trent Park, Middlesex University. After living for many years in England, I returned to Singapore my home country in 1990. Since then, I have been involved in teaching music as well as performing, arranging and composing for my bands. I am also a volunteer at the Thomson Jazz Club which is an activity of Thomson Community Club. I manage and play piano for the Club's flagship band, Thomson Big Band.
